The Society for West African Internal Audit Practitioners (SWAIAP) was Incorporated with a vision to institutionalize internal auditing in West Africa as a foremost tool to improve business processes and performance, prevent corruption, wastes, inefficiencies, ineffectiveness and other forms of financial and non-financial risks both in private and public sectors.

We converge all assurance providing professional, train and certify them. Our training and certification program is categorized into four distinct membership categories Fellow Practicing Internal Auditor (FPIA), Certified Practicing Internal Auditor (CPIA), Associate Internal Auditor (AIA), and Internal Audit Technician (IAT).
